    The BEST OF DAVAO 2004

    by: Randy Ramos

    Best Shopping Destination:

    Aldevinco Shopping Complex

for the Batik and Malong. Besides, it is just across marco polo hotel

    Best Beach Resort:

    Pearl Farm.

Although, Paradise Beach Resort got some few votes because of its proximity from insular hotel.

    Best Eco-Tourism Destination:

    Eden Resort.

Malayo nga lang and there is still quite a stretch of rocky road. Malagos Resort comes in as strong second and Philippine Eagle as third.

    Best Hotel:

    Marco Polo

    Best Restaurant:

    Jack’s Ridge.

Not necessarily because of their food and their service. The delegates liked the scenery overlooking davao and its city lights.

    Best Gimik Place:

    The Venue.

because its huge. On may 1 concert of South Border at the Venue, there was still a long queu that stretched outside the complex waiting to get inside. And it was almost 10pm!!! Matina Town Square or MTS was also a close favorite.

    Best Coffee:

    BluGre,

    especially its durian-flavored coffee.

    Best Davao Cuisine:

Kinilaw, Inihaw na Panga, Crispy Buntot ng Bariles

    Best Durian Candies and Pies:

    Linda’s Durian Candy.

By far, it’s the best! And her durian pies? It was close to eating the fruit.

    Best Pasalubong from Davao:

    Davao Pomelo
